[Kaz is fiddling with Oswald's Cross. Having come out of the Vault after a long, interesting talk with Elaine of all people - beings - people. They said it was time to party but Kaz is still a little overwhelmed. His Seven consisted of three Malice Kings, the Bishop and a Cardinal of the Brotherhood, and one of their highest level operatives. It really is a "YO MAN" moment for him, even now that it's all done.

He's looking at Alistair Mordechai, Hikaru Shinta, Aidan Clayce, Maes Mordechai, Paolo Inojosa and Marissa Inojosa at the table, fiddling with the necklaces, the cross tucked away in the pocket of his jacket.

Won't I have to put this on a chain? And then there's the uniform...

Oh he thinks it's bad-ass, no question, even if Hikaru looks so uncomfortable in it. He snickers now, grabbing a glass and pouring himself a drink. He's actually starting slow: vodka mudshake.]

[He sloshes his drink around, looking questioningly at Aidan. He's had time to think about this, naturally. But his voice is still small when he says:]

The White Lions of St. Joan of Arc...? I just figure it puts me as close to my Blade as possible. What with Kuya... Taning... and then Brig and Yulia, Josh and Brianna... I want to be with them. All the way. At least, for as long as they fight, I want to be alongside them.

[Honesty hour already? Well, they were ready to follow Taning into Hell anyhow.]

[clayce]

That sounds like a good idea.

[And then, chuckling.]

You're actually surrounded by White Lions right now.

[Kaz's jaw actually drops at that. It shouldn't, but it does anyway.]

That's... Well... Um... I really shouldn't be surprised, should I, Father?

[It's kind of a huge deal to him, training under Alistair, then Paolo. To have taken his Walk with the latter, and his Baptism with these seven. He'll never be able to express how thankful he is.]

Probably not. The devotion of Saint Joan of Arc is rather... fitting, for people who can't stand still for very long.

[Himself included, really.]

That's... Hm.

[Yeah, sounds about right. He's talking to the former Kaiser who was voted out because he needed a vacation, after all. And being unable to sit still is Kaz through and through. Josh has had to corral him several times, after all.]

[clayce]

[He can totally see what you're thinking about there, Kaz. Still...]

Think on it another day, Kaz. You deserve to have fun tonight.

Refilling your glass again.]

Hummm... I will if you will, Father.

[He clinks his glass against Aidan's, clearly already lightly buzzed.]

Believe me, I am.

[And taking a toss from his own glass now, with a tiny little smile.]

[He stands then, knocking back his glass.]

I suppose I should go see to my other guests. See you on the lawn sometime, Father?

[And please be very, very drunk by the time this is over.]

And now over to Alistair

[He smiles and pats Aidan on the shoulders affectionately before spotting Alistair and wandering over]
