I take it they drink quite a bit? The last time I was there, the tea was impressive.

They're... how do I put it? Incredibly European in their sensibilities?

[Saying that with fondness. You know how it goes on that continent: tea/coffee for breakfast, juice/wine for lunch, wine/other alcoholic something for dinner. Who needs water that isn't fucked with anyway, right?]

I'd love company.

[She means it. Netsach may have the whole family thing going, but a lot of the younger operatives still kept their distance from her, an Inquisitor, on principle.]

Maybe we can grab something to eat after we're done too.

I rarely ever say no to food.

[ He smiles, checking the list and the shelves for the right kind of present. It'll call to him. ]

So how's J doing? I mean, she's still training with you, right?

She's doing fine. As things stand, I'm pretty sure that those training wheels of hers will be off soon.

[She is, after all, in line for a promotion. Dove's not about to say that, though. Jessica ought to be the one to fill folks in.]

Yeah, we all got pretty excited when she went from being CIC to being on the field. S'kind of awesome.

[ He says that with a genuine smile. Her being the Oracle to his Nightwing for sometime was pretty cool. ]

[Smiling at that, then moving closer to one of the stands in order to pick up a bottle that caught her eye.]

She's rather attached to all of you, from what I can see. That sort of thing helps, in my experience.

I really do like her, and I'm happy she's with the Pride.

Same here. They seem to be a good fit for her.

[She's been watching over them while they're on the field. Kind of like how she watches over all of you, really.]

So, out of curiosity, how much booze can a Throne put away?

Hmm... the kids can take about three big bottles of liquor. The older ones range from anywhere between eight to infinity.

Yes. They're all very Old World, so.

[Yanno. Their children start smoking and drinking at around eight, if they ever start at all.]

Erm... When you say old world, you mean the 90's, or the Victorian Era?

It mostly depends on their actual age, but "Old World" usually means 70s or older.

Most people who live very long or are practically immortal tend to be a little hipster, so-to-speak.

I might know that feeling rather well. The whole hipster thing, I mean.

Well, sometimes older IS better.

[ There's a bright little smile on the boy's face when you nod. He also picks a few more things out. Fine Whiskey, some Vodka, and after some searching, a 2041 Rosado Cava. ]

Um... Well, I don't go shopping too often.
