[And there go the cogs in his head. He knows what he wants it to look like, but not what to make it out of. Naturally, he wants it tough enough to withstand the elements, but he wants it to fit with the creature it represents.
His tablet's out and well, Kaz in research mode is kind of odd. He mutters under his breath No, that's not gonna fly, *snort* Now that's just crazy.. It takes him a while before he says anything, and when he does, he's looking at Aidan.]
Can I fuse emerald and titanium together to make the mask?
I suppose we should get started... Um. I should get that design.
[While he wasn't an artist of talent like Jill, he could draw, so he clicks out the stylus from his tablet and opens an application. It actually takes all of a few minutes, before he's showing you the design of a mask, colored too. It's a deep green around the mouth, the color extending up past a pair orange of bug eyes and into a tiny serrated pair of antenna. The rest of the mask is black. He shows it to Aidan when he's done.]
I'm probably borrowing from a very old show, but... I thought this best represents Nico. And I thought it'd be kind of scary to see this mask under the hood of a Mangekyo.
[That's a mental image he's never going to get out of his head, really. The sight of Aidan sitting around watching Kamen Rider. It was kind of like seeing your dad freak out while playing Resident Evil (which he did see)
Wait, do??
Have a look that is both surprised, confused and filled with many questions.]
[And Kaz almost... Pouts. But he doesn't and just goes back to the drawing, making a few adjustments, just so it doesn't look too much like a Rider's faceplate. In the end, the tapered points are flat against the mask, sloping upwards.
[That makes him pause and starts to look at it more, looking into the distance every once in a while when he has and idea. The overall design doesn't change so much, but the mouthpiece has planes now. It's done. Insect-like, scary, and...]
[Kaz has this look of Armory...? Materials...? How do...?]
Um, right. Okay. Got it.
[The armory attendant just raises an eyebrow at him when he asks for the materials, and nods sagely when he says it's to make a Zangyaku oni-tsukai's mask. Yes it does cost a considerable amount, but Kaz would probably do it again.
He does look a little ruffled when he returns, Aidan, but I don't think he'd tell you just yet.]
[And just like that, the dragon's gone. Aidan's standing in front of you with his hand held out.]
Take my hand. I'll put up a link between us so that you can help me make it properly.
[Link. Hunterspeak for telepathic connections, and the like. Multiple use beyond communication, but only if the Gifted in question was powerful enough.]
[Yeah, okay that's never going to not wow him at all. So, telepathic link. He's gonna need a second. A Hunter he may be but he's also still just a boy. There are thoughts you never want your Brother or Father to see. EVER.
He takes a deep breath and imagines the Mask now, making sure that it's at the forefront of his mind before he slips his hand into Aidan's.]
-- well, you won't really feel it, not after the initial push of another presence in your head. Outside of that, the materials you bought are floating up of their own accord, and spinning around, as clay might spin around a potter's wheel.]
[If Kaz's jaw drops, please know that it's only 'cause he's a kid with a sense of wonder that's never really gone away.
He keeps the vision of the mask firm in his head, fueled by the fact that this is what Nico will wear whenever he's out there. It'll be the face he wears when he fights.]
[Catching that look, and flashing the other a crooked grin as he's working.
Who would ever thought that you'd see the day that the Voidseeker was finally at peace with the powers he had at his disposal, and happy enough to show off with them?]
Which can also be a trolly face...
[Ah, those crazy war freaks. They're just like their leader.]
Actually
[And there go the cogs in his head. He knows what he wants it to look like, but not what to make it out of. Naturally, he wants it tough enough to withstand the elements, but he wants it to fit with the creature it represents.

That can be arranged.
[He had, after all, offered to help, right?]

Once he's done:]
Agreed.
[And now he's rather amused.]
I think I know what show you're referring to.
no subject
[Who knew that the Malice Kings watched Tokusatsu?]
W-well... Um.
[You've boggled his mind, Aidan.]

You don't live for as long as I have without knowing a thing or two. Or doing a thing or two.

Showa, or Heisei?
[Yeah, fanboy. He's stalled for a second.]

I'm not going to tell you.
[Yeah, now he's just being a troll.]

He's not mad, but he's got plans... Eventually.]

Looks good so far.

Perfect.

Now, you might want to go down to the Armory and see if you can buy the materials. I'll wait for you here.
