[He meant to do this sooner, really, but to say that he got caught up in a lot of more-or-less expected shit would be a dire understatement.

As such, he's only calling Kaz now, while he's sitting out on the balcony to the bedroom that he and Hikaru still share. Hikaru's finally asleep.

[A half-awake/half-asleep Kaz picks up the phone when he hears the buzz. He’s been playing a classic RPG on his console for most of the night. So he has this idiotic smile on his face when he flops onto his stomach and types out a reply.]

[Yeah, he has, and he's been spending more time in the training room and the shooting range since Yue Rukia first showed up, since Brother Death told him that by letting them go, he challenged the Wings of Therion. Matter of fact, he was at the shooting range since around seven, having gone to mass the night before.

His shots: miss some, hit some. Clip after clip. Breathe, squeeze; breathe, squeeze. It's a while before he even looks at his phone, and when he does, it's only 'cause his stomach's growling.]

[All things considered, it's been a pretty good week. The school year has started in the Philippines, and Aidan Clayce has always had a special place in his heart for the universities in Metro Manila. Ateneo is at the top of that list for him. Jesuits and Netsach: go figure.

As such, this is the first time that people are seeing him back on the lawn since Wednesday. He's been doing the rounds, starting classes, engaging students. The children have clearly missed him, and he hopes that by staying around until lunch, he can make it up to them. Even a little.]

[Kaz is awakened by a phone call, after he's crashed from smoking through half of the 'Nico Pack'. The number is an unknown, but he answers anyway. It's Nico's Blade Leader. He congratulates her as well, and pleasantries are exchanged. But then she cuts to the quick: Nico doesn't have a mask. She tells him that Masaharu - Nico's dad - had suggested Kaz.

He knew what it meant for Masaharu to let him have the honor of giving Nico his mask. She asks him if he can do something about getting the mask to him, seeing as they aren't being deployed to Tian just yet. Naturally, he says yes. One problem though, but he only realizes it after he hangs up:

So have a casually dressed Karlo Antonio wandering onto the lawn, Aidan, cigarette lit and all as he plops down against your side, clearly distressed.]

His phone buzzes just as he finishes. Seeing that it's Leo, well. All he does is snap a quick text back.]

[A very pensive Kaz as jumped on his motorcycle and headed to Falner. The last few days have been a lot to think about, and right now, he does wish that Aidan were around. Maybe Rethe was on the lawn, so he drives down and he thinks that he's hearing things, but he turns off the engine and hears the sounds of children at play.

He's pelting onto the lawn, hoping that maybe Aidan's come back (even if he knows it can't be.)]

[Anyone who is familiar with the Dovetailor's pattern may be shocked to see that, not only is she outside of the Falner Estate right now, but she also looks like she's alone.

Anyone who really knows Dove, though, will know better. Either way, it looks like she's alone as her wheelchair (a hover chair this time) is steering her down to one of the nicest wine shops in Greenbelt 5. There is a party later, and she wants to make sure that Gabriel only gets the finest from her.]

[ Kaz has a list from his Aniki and the resources to get all of them if he really wanted to. After all, his mother and grandmother are partners for Rhiannon (whether or not it happened before he became a Card, Kaz doesn't know, but he'll hazard a guess at before.) and he wants to make a good enough impression on his older brother's mentor.

Now, he's aware of The Dovetailor... Mostly because she's J's mentor in all things network, which is awesome. Seeing her out and about though... Which is why he's kind of shyly walking around, but keeping her in his line of sight, unsure how to even start a conversation or something. ]
